He started smiling like this on the weekend, it cracks everyone up and we are always trying to get him to do it. He screws his nose up, breathes noisely through his nose and shows off his sparkly new top teeth. It also usually involves his arms and legs flying about as well.
In other news I have had him to the doctors 3 times in the last week, he has a really bad wheeze and is due back to the doctor's on Thursday. We may end up spending another night in the hospital, fingers crossed that we don't. His cough is so bad at the moment that he sometimes vomits from it, hopefully this will be over soon, at least his high chair is getting a regular clean. He isn't unhappy but just feeling a little tired at the end of the day.

Well we are exhausted after sleeping in a noisy room just across from the hotel kitchen but overall it was a great weekend away.Initially we were supposed to leave Cooper with mum but since he has been so sick with a cold and having trouble with his breathing we thought it would be better to take him with us. It was so nice to have some time with him, I think he enjoyed it too.
We went to IKEA and boy was that a treat, they have just released a new catalogue and so all of the shelves were full. I got almost all of what I needed, I just have to wait for the computer cupboard I want, it will be in next week. Oh darn we will have to go back again next weekend!
Darren wanted to take me to some of the places he taken the boys while I was pregnant with Cooper having a rest at home, the first stop was South Head. We walked around the loop track and the scenery was gorgeous, it was really windy so we couldn't stay long as Cooper was getting cold. I think the highlight for me was the nudest beach, I wasn't game enough to take any photos though.
On Sunday we headed up the coast to Palm Beach, I have never been there before so it was a real treat for me. It was so hot and windy we couldn't stay very long so mostly we drove around looking at all of the gorgoeus houses. I think we found Leyton and Bec's house, the one with four expensive cars out the front and I am sure I saw Cheryl unloading groceries. We saw one house that was virtually suspended in mir air, the concrete posts holding it up were about 4 stories high. Crazy!
Nathan is already talking about when he gets to have his weekend away with just Mummy & Daddy - sounds good to me :)

I became Mrs Wick. I knew from the moment I met Darren that we would get married, we just had to finish uni first and save enough money for our wedding. I remember the lady that was doing my make up on the morning of the wedding saying that I was the calmest bride she had every met, no nerves, no second doubts, no cold feet. I think that my stress levels may have increased slightly (ha!) but I think that may have something to do with the six little feet that run around our house.
It has been a great ten years and I love that we have done it together, I love the life we have created together.
Happy Anniversary Babe - hopefully we will have a child free weekend away for our 20th anniversary (I am definately thinking New York!)

We seem to do the same things every Wednesday, nothing special just enjoying the gorgeous spring weather we are having at the moment.
I spent some time out in the garden this morning, watering with the hose while Nate watered with the watering can. He then proceeded to lock me out of the house and make his way to the garage to play with Daddy's new bike pump. It took me about 10 minutes to convince him to open the door. The gardenia leaves are yellowing again, time for some Epsom Salts
Nate and Cooper had some time playing before we went for our walk. Cooper loves to get into the basket of toys and have a chew on everything, he played for ages with the little firetruck that has sirens and lights.
Cooper isn't feeling his best today, I had him to the doctor's yesterday and one of his ears is red again and he has a touch of tonsilitis. We decided not to give antibiotics just yet, hopefully he can get over it himself. He didn't have much for lunch and only a little of his bottle.
Nathan has perfected his scooter riding already and is trying to do jumps off the gutter, use the back brake and ride with both feet on the board. He goes so fast on it but is usually in control, he rode all of the way on our walk today and all the way to the shops the other night. He has such great co-ordination, picking up most activites pretty quickly. He even wanted to take the scooter down the dirt track with a jump on it that local teenages have made for their bikes. I always joke that he is going to be my extreme sports child, I can see him dangling off a cliff in a few years time. Just hope my nerves can take it :)
Darren has taken to getting up early to go for a walk. He was up at 5:30am to walk down the hill and back up again then he rode to work. Just give me a call if you need a lift home baby :)

Riley has had Zoo Tycoon 2 on his mind for a few months now. I downloaded the trial version a few weeks ago for Riley to play on my computer. Since then he has talked about nothing else, continually asking what sort of food different animals eat, what kind of fence do the animals need. I have had to restrict the time he spends on the computer as he would be on here all day. One morning he came into our bedroom at 6:30am and asked if he could go on the computer, another morning he came in talking about the camels. He has even tried sweet talking me to have a turn on the computer.
I decided that a sticker chart would keep him happy to work towards the full version of his very own. He worked his little tail off to get them, setting the table for dinner, eating breakfast, getting dressed and cleaning teeth in the morning, do as I asked the first time, he did manage to lose a few by fighting with Nate. Last night he was so excited, a big grin on his face, dancing around laughing, all because he only had one more sticker to get.
Now my only hope is that it arrives in the post quick smart or mum is going to be in trouble :)

Wow cannot believe the little guy is ten months already.
He is still not crawling but manages to get around OK and the older two certainly help out when he squarks for toys.
He has learnt to get into the sitting position from his tummy but has already got some small bruises on the side of his head where he has taken a tumble. I heard him crying from his cot this morning and when I went in he was leaning against the side of the cot. He has gotten into the sitting position and then fallen over :)
Feeding times are getting messy, his hands are getting in the way when we try and spoon feed him, he is always trying to grab the bowl and his fingers usually end up in his mouth to feel the food. I gave him some toast fingers this morning and he loved it and didn't have any troubles eating it.
I think he is getting close to dropping a sleep as his sleeps are really short, usually an hour, and he is taking onger to go to sleep in the morning.
Size 0 clothes are becoming too small, I had him in a size 1 pair of pants the other day and they fit OK. Might be time to get out the summer clothes soon as the weather is warming up.
Still loves to go for a walk in the pram, be it to the park, shopping or watching the boys do their swimming lesson
Loves to sit out on the grass, eat it and then choke on it.
Zucchini, broccoli and corn still not allowed - his face is alot clearer since I have eliminated these from his diet
Usually vegemite or cream cheese sandwich for lunch, cut up into little squares, pumpkin, sweet potato and carrots with either couscous or lentils mixed together for dinner
Cooper's gromets went in last week so he has to wear ear plugs and a headband in the bath so he doesn't get water in his ears.
Happy ten months little guy, we love you
